Parmigiano Reggiano or Grana Padano? Your chance to decide which you love best! Though interchangeable in many dishes, these two wonderful cheeses differ in several ways; most notably where they come from geographically and as a consequence, the grass the respective cows graze on, affecting the taste of the final product. Both are DOP protected and adhere to strict production methods. Typically, Parmigiano Reggiano has a more pronounced, savory and earthy flavor, whilst Grana Padano is more mellow and buttery.
