Description

The authentic Lupara buffalo mozzarella (mozzarella di bufala) is made exclusively using the milk of Italian buffalo and produced in Caserta - Campania (Italy).

This buffalo mozzarella contains no preservatives and is imported frozen. It is shipped while still frozen from our facility and it will arrive thawed and refrigerated in our insulated box with ice gel packs.

Buffalo mozzarella provides higher levels of protein, fat and minerals than cow's milk. It can replace it as a partner for tomatoes when you want to serve a more indulgent and less predictable insalata caprese. Excellent on pizza.

We suggest to bring it to room temperature before serving.
Enjoy it with a drizzle of extra virgin olive oil and aged balsamic vinegar.

This is my first time trying Buffalo Mozzarella. The cheese was packed in water and maybe I should have dried it out more? It was a soggy mess that just fell apart and resembled wet ricotta cheese. I definitely prefer regular fresh mozzarella to this kind.
